Parents, guardians and relatives who care for children have to face a constant challenge to keep them safe in the busy world we live today. For years we have taught our children to stay away from strangers, but this idea is quite difficult for youngsters to understand, and unfortunately the “stranger” can be someone they know a lot of the time. It is far better to improve a child’s confidence and educate them how to respond to any dangerous circumstances, rather than educating them to watch out for a specific type of person.
